I will ship ASAP. When an item is listed I search for a box immediately to determine the shipping costs. The item will then be ready to be labeled and shipped usually within one day.

I carefully wrap and take extra precautions to pack securely. Most of my packing supplies are clean and new. But sometimes the situation calls for a special size box that only can be found elsewhere.

This home is smoke free and pet free.

I use USPS priority if the item is over 13 ounces. Anything under that weight can be shipped First Class for much less cost. If the item needs to be shipped across country, say Denver and west, then the cost could possibly be lowered by using the flat rate boxes provided by USPS. I would need to have a contact (email) from you before the order is placed to change the shipping option for you.

Or, I would ship using the lowest rate and then refund the difference if it's over a dollar. I conduct my shop in an honest way using the principle of "how would I want to be treated as a customer."

You have my promise that even after purchase I will attempt to find a lower shipping cost and make a refund over $1.50.

USPS priority shipping provides at no extra cost insurance up to any item valued at $50 or less. For anything over that value shipping priority there is an additional fee for insurance. If you want insurance for an item valued over $50 please email me before ordering to calculate this extra cost. I learned very quickly from others that extra precautions must be taken.

Each bottle containing liquid will have the cap securely taped. I will protect the finish on the lid by covering first with tissue. I take precaution not to put tape on the label.

If the perfume is in the original box and if I think they should be separated I will put the bottle in its own zip lock bag separate from the box. Sometimes this is not necessary. Then I use bubble wrap and pack securely.

If the bottle is empty I still use the same precautions with the cap. I will also use a zip lock bag and bubble wrap for protection.

Perfume is usually sent First Class.

I first started gathering things from around the house to declutter. Most things in my home are "early marriage."

Then Goodwill stores became a favorite place. Now I favor garage sales and estate sales. Whole house sales are the best because the the whole scenario of a life lived is represented.

At first just getting an inventory beyond my own stuff was the main thing. Now I have become much more selective and particular in my gathering and am starting to see areas that I want to have a focus. I am developing an eye for the unusual, (in my price range, that is) and rejecting items that have flooded the market.

The saying goes "what you have comes to you" and I am sometimes given items.

I do not take returns. However, I would try to make things right if there is a problem. I try to honestly describe and list as best I can. I will point out all the flaws as I see them. At times a detail may be over looked which may seem like misrepresentation. I would appreciate knowing if it seems that way to you.

Sales tax will only be charged to individuals living in Connecticut. Etsy will automatically apply CT sales tax to your order if you live in CT.

At this time Etsy collects sales tax in PA and WA and remits. I will continue to collect in CT and remit to the state.
